For group lockout situations involving a large number of workers and equipment, group lock boxes offer a number of advantages, including fewer padlocks and hasps needed. For situations when multiple employees need to lock on to a single energy isolation point, hasps provide a fast, effective way to lock out. How group lock boxes work Your on-the-go lock box labeler
Handheld labelers from Brady are an easy way to clearly separate lock box worker groups and equipment, and further your commitment to compliance. And it doesn't stop there. This general-purpose labeler can handle any of your industrial labeling needs, including wires, panels and more, and may be cheaper than purchasing pre-printed labels over time. Lockout coordinator uses an equipment lock on each energy isolation point to lock out equipment. Keys for that lock are placed in the lock box. Each worker applies his own lock to the lock box. As long as any one worker's lock remains on the lock box, the keys to the equipment locks cannot be accessed and the equipment cannot be restarted. Each employee retains exclusive control, as required by OSHA.
